How to play

Learn it in a minute. Master it level by level

The rules fit in four steps. The game teaches them to you in three guided lessons.

  1. 1

    Tap a free tile

    The tile goes up to the tray. You can only tap the light tiles, the ones with nothing on top.

  2. 2

    Match three alike

    Three identical tiles in the tray make a match and vanish.

  3. 3

    Uncover the ones below

    Dark tiles are covered. If you can't see three alike, send a tile up to reveal the ones underneath.

  4. 4

    Watch the tray

    It has 7 slots. Amber means 2 are left; red means 1. Clear the board before it fills up.

Boosters to get you out of a jam

Use them whenever you need them. If a booster can no longer save the game, you aren't charged for it.

  • UndoPuts the last tile back on the board.
  • HintPoints out a move that leads to victory.
  • ShuffleMoves the symbols around to reveal new matches.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most

Is Trili free?

Yes. You can play every level for free. There are optional coin purchases and a one-time purchase to remove ads.

Does it have ads?

No ad ever interrupts a game. You can choose to watch ads to earn coins or boosters, and from level 15 on, one may appear after some wins. A one-time purchase removes them.

Which devices can I play on?

Trili is coming first to Android phones and tablets through Google Play. The iPhone and iPad version will come later.

How many levels are there?

240 levels across 12 chapters of 20, plus a chapter that teaches you how to play. More levels will arrive with updates.

Can I play if I'm color blind?

Yes. Tiles are told apart by their figure, not their color, so the game plays the same with any type of color blindness.

When does it come out?
